Interview about Mark Lowndes

On Wednesday the 13th of February,we were lucky enough to interview Mark Lowndes. He is famous for his appearance in Australia’s Got Talent.Miss Aireen organised our interview, which we did online using Google Chat.I learned that Mark Lowndes was really patient about his dreams and his favourite colours are green, black and yellow.I also learned that Mark started singing songs for 12 years, the only red carpet he has walked on was at his church I also learned that he has got 3 A4 books full of songs and he also sang as a song when we were interviewing him.He left us with the messages to always believe in your dreams and to never give up.I felt inspired to keep believing in my dreams.

Individual Description

Malo e lelei, my name is Malia and I am a loving peaceful person that always comes to school to learn everyday. I have black short hair and brown tan skin. I have a wonderful smile and a beautiful personality .My eyes are hazel brown just like autumn leaves falling on the ground. I love singing my heart to the world whenever I am peacefully by myself just like a quiet little angel, zooming across the sky. I love to make up poems and to listen to them. My favourite poem would have to be roses are red, violets are blue, honey is sweet but not sweet as you.

In my lovely family I have 3 handsome brothers. Two of my brothers come to Tamaki Primary School with me. Their names are Falakiko and Tevita. Falakiko is a loving gentleman that always eat every first hour. Tevita is the annoying brother that always talks and talks about superheroes and always distracts us when we're in bed. I have a baby brother called Opeti Sii, he is so cute like just like me. He is sometimes a noisy bird who always shouts and screams.  I have no sisters. I am the only girl in my family. I sometimes don’t like being the only girl because sometime you feel left out because you're the oldest. But being the oldest is kind of alright because I love to show my brothers how to be good role models. On the other hand, I have my Mum and Dad. Dad is the king of the jungle he always scared us in night time.Mum on the other other hand is a beautiful lady.  She always cooks us yummy food for dinner.  I also live with my loving aunty, my uncle and my lovely Nana.  I love living with my awesome family.

My community is Panmure it is really quiet and peaceful.  I love living in Panmure because everytime someone goes past people say “Good Morning.”  Or they say, “How is your day today?” Then the people say  “I am good thanks.”  Panmure is the best place I ever live because I always see people having fun and I see children running around and people just hanging out with their family.  Living in Panmure is so much fun and so cool.

I enjoy playing sports like netball, rugby, touch and soccer. I also like cooking, dancing, singing, helping and making sure that my friends and family are happy. I like going on the netbook and I love researching new things.  Maths, Topic and P.E are also my favourite subjects at school.I love to sleep and watching movies.I also love running around the block whenever I feel bored at home.I am Tongan and I am so proud of my culture. When I think about my culture I think of the coconut trees, island food, the clothes and the traditional cultural dances.I really love the culture I come from because it identifies who I am and what I believe in.

My hopes in Tamaki Primary is to become a great role model when I go to College and so that I can get ready and prepare for when I leave this awesome school and so that I can be confident when I go College.  Also, to try improve my learning skills by taking the knowledge from Primary to College.  My fear for Tamaki Primary is that I might not have enough information for when I go College.  I hope my hopes come true and hope my fears don’t come true.
