What is the author’s purpose pf the poem?
The purpose of this poem is that there is a log drifting through the water all alone.

What are the key ideas in the poem?
The key idea is that poem is to follow your own pathway and to never give up and never let anything bring you down no matter what happens. It also means making the right choices in life and always have a positive attitude.

Why do you think these are the key ideas?
Its like you can go anywhere you want to go in life without anyone leading you to somewhere you don’t wanna be at and its like just being responsible for your own actions through life.

How does the poem make you feel?
It makes me feel like I am free because it makes me want to go anywhere I would want to go and not listening to anyone but not only I also need to be responsible and always make the right choices in life.

Why does it make you feel this way?
It makes me feel this way because you can be free and go where ever you want to go but just remember you always need to make the right choices and follow the right pathway of life.

How does the image in the poem support the way the poem makes your feel?
The driftwood drifting in the water and water can lead to different places even to your dreams and hopes coming true and then achieving your aspiration.
